Flickr update. Not much just a few. Have a gander if you have nothing better to do, then email me telling which one you like and that you’d like to buy me a pint. Thanks.

Brick Lane with lover LF.
Had an epic catch up with a good friend on Sunday, mulled wine, vintage glasses, busy streets, chinese food and horrific canned green tea. We nipped to an exhibition too while we were there…

I’ve set myself a challenge to make more of the camera on my phone. It’s not a great camera, nor am I a photographer. But I quite like the grainy sometimes shitty look of them and I love the sporadic snapshot appeal. I want to start taking more pictures on my phone. I mean it sometimes is just not possible to always have a camera with you and it can even be a bit annoying getting a chunky slr camera out. Soooooo for the times in between the blackberry fruit machine can fill the blanks. I’ve uploaded a few to my flickr for anyone who cares enough to have a gander.

Whilst in Greenwich it began to pis it down. Not horrificly cool/nice rain. Shit rubbish rain. So we were saved by the Maritime Museum, which was great! We went to the ‘Toy boats’ exhibtion which I read about in one of the Museums Journal issues I was working on. I really would recommended it. You don’t have to be specifically be ‘into’ boats to enjoy it either! The whole exhibtion despite it being small has been so carefully considered and beautifully excuted. I really really enjoyed it. I’m just upset that some of my other pictures didn’t turn out properly. Ah ne mind! At least this one of the epic sinage isn’t half bad.

I’ve been at the Hand & Eye studio today with the lovely Rosa De Carlo. She let me visit to have a look around and take some pictures… which has also spurred me on to update my flickr account. Rosa so kindly explained the various aspects of how to print and how they work at Hand & Eye to produce their beautiful printed material. The studio is full of the most beautiful typesetting machines and printing materials, with an epic collection of wooden and metal type. If you click on the picture here it will redirect you to my flickr account where you can see more of the snaps I got today, please forgive me though — I’m not a photgrapher, however critism is always welcomed!
